About Balanced Arches

Balanced Arches is locally owned and operated by Dawn and Troy Johnson. 

Dawn and Troy Johnson opened an Ideal Feet franchise in Wichita, KS in 2019. After seeing customers that were left with very few options for therapeutic shoes and orthotic insoles when 2 long standing companies closed their doors in 2021, Dawn and Troy decided to separate from the franchise and rebrand as Balanced Arches. 

Dawn was raised in Wichita and graduated from Wichita West High School. She attended Allen County Community College and Wichita State University. Dawn has spent the better part of the last 32 years dedicated to direct patient care, working in various roles within the Wichita Medical Community. She has spent the last 10 years in her current field which is a subset of Podiatry, evaluating and fitting clients for therapeutic shoes and insoles. 

Troy was raised in Marquette, Ks and graduated from Little River High School and attended Kansas State University. Troy previously owned and operated a small computer repair shop in Salina for several years and has been a home inspector in Kansas for the last 12 years. 



Dawn and Troy are dedicated to helping people in the Wichita and surrounding areas find properly fitting therapeutic shoes and orthotic insoles.
